New Year's Eve, 1999 - the sun sets on the 20th century.
As the sun set, and it got closer to 9pm, everything started to light up.
As Andrew and I looked across at the condos on the other side of the Harbor (which cost millions of dollars), I commented that the people who live there probably don't appreciate how lucky they are to wake up to such a spectacular view each day. Andrew said, "Yeah, and won't it be funny if all their lights go out at midnight from the millenium bug!!" I replied, "If all the lights go out at midnight, I'm going to panic." Andrew said, "Yeah, and probably so will everyone else here!"

Note: The following pages contain a mixture of photos taken by myself and by Andrew. Andrew had a tripod, but I had a better view. So the well-framed blurry photos are mine, while the sharp photos with people's heads in the way are Andrew's.
