New Year's Eve, 1999 - the 9pm fireworks show.
During the 9pm fireworks display, fireworks were launched from two locations on either side of the Harbor Bridge. So we had fireworks silmultaneously exploding both in front of us (near the Opera House) and behind us (behind the bridge and buildings from where we were). The streaks of gold light in the sky are televison helecoptors belonging to several TV networks who were broadcasting the fireworks.
