How to prepare a trip easily.

The first thing to do, is to ask yourself :" What kind of journey do i want to make? Is it only to enjoy and relax lay on the beach?Or do i want to be more adventurous and learn something from this trip? You also have to consider if you do a trip alone or with family or friends. After that you have to make a budget to know the expenses you may do and the ones that you might. Think of the insurrance ( is it included if i paid my ticket with my credit card? Take a look at it, maybe yours has one!)Maybe you may say well i don't need an insurrance, but when you're sick it's good to know that the charges won't affect your budget!
If you're a canadian student or under 25, you may go on this site

Once you're done with the purchase of your airplane ticket, you have to reserve a place where to sleep.Depending on your budget, you can choose hostels youthwhere you can meet a lot of people from around the world or this french site. You need to be a member of the hostelling international, if you want to get a lower rate (28.49$ can. tx included) for the membership card.A good thing to have if you are a student from anywhere in the world, is the ISIC card.Only 16$ can. If you're not a student but under 25,you can have the GO 25 card, with the same advantages as the ISIC one.You make savings worldwide, on entrance in museums, hostelsyouth, transportation, cultural activites... If you're in Canada, you can obtain these cards at your travelcuts agency.
On an other category, you can choose Bed and Breakfast, that are pretty good and not that expensive! I think this is a good experience if you want to spent some time and if you'd like to discover another culture. If you talk with locals they can be very helpful and they know a lot of things about their place! So if you have the opportunity, do it! I did it most of the time i travelled, and i really enjoyed it,people are really nice and you become more curious about the place you visit!
At last, you can choose different hotels/motels Don't forget that if you're a member of CAA/AAA you also have rebate on reservation of hotel. Ask your travel agent.
