Day to Day Goings On!

Well here we are June 2004!  Where has the time gone?  Well Ashton turned two in February of this year and Kaitlyn just turned 9 last month.  Kaitlyn has decided to have a Build-A-Bear party so that is coming up this weekend.  Firstly we are going to go celebrate some of Hats Off Day (which is now one of the largest community events in Vancouver!), then we will go to Build-A-Bear.  Kaitlyn is almost finished grade 3 and has done very well this year (she picks her own spelling words at school and boy does she choose tough ones!).  Kaitlyn will also being playing soccer again this year on the same team as last year (this will be her third year playing).  She is also still dancing, this next year being her 6th year!  On June 13th of this year she will be advancing to Guides having done two years of Brownies here and one year in Texas.  I will be going on with her and becoming a Guide Leader, which I am so looking forward to!  The last two years as a Brownie Leader were most rewarding and fun filled for me.  Next year I think we will start Ashton in soccer too.

One the long weekend we traveled up to Kamloops to visit my long time friend and her family.  Did we ever have fun!  I knew there was going to be 14 of us crashing there for the weekend but boy was I sure surprised when her other sister showed up with her kids, bringing our total to 18!  There were 10 kids ranging from ages 2-12 and boy did they have fun!  Us adults had fun too, drinking and catching up on each others lives!  I also took the opportunity to go visit my grandmother whom I hadn't seen since before we moved to Texas.  

Steve is still working at Accent Leasing (so if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle talk to him!) and I am working my Melaleuca Business really hard.  My goal for last month was to enroll at least one person to get the 10th Anniversary of Melaleuca Canada keychain.  I am pleased to report I EARNED IT!  So now that brings us to my next goal, Director and $500 US each month by September 1st, 2004.
