The Okinawan Expo is a place no traveler to Okinawa should miss. It is free, with certain buildings and exhibits that you must pay for. It is has a plethora of Okinawan and Japanese history. One could actually take an entire day and visit this monument.
At the expo, you can witness a free dolphin show. It is free and it shown 2-3 times daily. In the coming months I will show pictures of the show and possibly a 1 minute feed of it. On picture I am showing is of a spotted whale, this whale was the largest mammal ever held in captivity. Upon death it was stuffed and mounted.
Another part of the expo I really enjoyed was the momuments to the housing. It showed the different housing used in Japan and Okinawa throughout the ages. In fact, one of the houses shown, in the near future, is the style of house I would love to live in. I tried to videotape as much of it as possible in order to film a blueprint of it.
