A Spirit Yacht Owners Page

This Site is for Spirit Yacht Owners to share information, specs,
Questions, Answers, tips on anything,  sailing stories, up grades
to the boat-rigging-sails-trailers, and anything else that would be
of interest to other Spirit owners.  E-mail pictures or articles,
or snail-mail photos and we'll scan them and return them.
Spirits were available in 21', 23', and 28' lenghts, from the early
sixties to the mid eighties.

The "Christian Island", a Spirit 23 owned and Operated by Dave Hord,
of North Carolina, trying the 150 Genoa in about 5-8 knot winds on
waters where the Neuse River meets Pamlico sound.  The Designer was
Robert Finch, who also was co-designer of the Catalina 27, hence the
similar clean hull design.  (More photos on the last page)
