Gary and Robin Gentry, of North Carolina, just bought their 1981 Spirit 23, and are doing things right to get it in the water.  I think the name is "Serendipity", although my spelling may be off.  I met them as they were finishing up the wood and getting ready to re-launch her.

Here, we find Gary using his clipboard checklist to see that all the tasks he gave Robin to do are completed on time.  Robin is scrubbing the bilges as this picture was taken.  The color scheme of dark brown and tan looks great,
and the cabin cushons match.  With Gary's bottom paint job done, this is a  fine looking boat. 

Although new to sailing, Gary and Robin are quick studies and are "getting out there and doing it"  and with just a few basic tips they have already done their first curise to Oriental and anchored out over night.  They'll be pros in no time.
