Cill and I have been married now for 5 years. She has three children - Cassandra, Jessica, and Carl. James has two children - Shane and Sasha and a stepdaughter Danielle. Cassandra, Jessica, and Carl live at home with us, Shane lives in San Francisco where he has a business on the web and Sasha lives in Vancouver WA where she is going to school.

Cill and I spent our honeymoon on a barefoot cruise aboard a 248' 4 masted schooner traveling to several islands in the Caribbean. This was the seed of our interest in sailing.

Where We live

We live in upstate New York between Ithaca and Cooperstown on the top of a hill with a great view of rural NY.
James moved here in 1977 from Nyack NY to build a cabin in the country and get away from the urban lifestyle.

Who we are

James grew up in Santa Barbara, Californis spending his high school years surfing. Cilla was born in Hawaii, but ended up in NY owning and operating a dairy farm.

Both James and Cill now work for a non-profit organization, James as Housing Director and Cilla as a Advocate for the Domestic Violence Program

The home you see here was built over the past 20 years by James. It is pole constructed and sets on 8 acres of hilltop.

Where we are going

We plan to sell up when the kids are gone and try living full time on our sailboat. Plans are to cruise through the Erie canal, down the Hudson River, then spend several months enjoying the trip down the Intercoastal Waterway to Key West. From there a couple of years exploring the islands of the Caribbean and then perhaps the South Pacific.
