SPORT AND RECREATION FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
AT CLUB PAIHIA as at 1997.

GOLF

Club Paihia has four memberships at Kerikeri Golf Club
Four half sets of clubs are available on loan from Reception. (deposit $NZ15)
Each use of the membership attracts a fee of $NZ10 payable when drawing the Course Identit Disc from Reception

TENNIS

A well lit full size hard court is available at the resort. The pathway between Chalets 2 & 3 leads to the court.

Bookings for the court can be rnade, in hourly allocations, at Reception. The court is unlocked with the 2nd key on your key ring. Racquets are available on loan from Reception. Tennis balls may be purchased there also.

PENTAQUE

2 Pentaque courts are available on the path to the tennis court.
Two sets of eight balls each mav be borrowed from Reception (signature required)

SWIMMING POOLS

Three pools, depths clearly shown on site, are adjacent to the core block. One pool is designed for children. To vets are available on loan from the office. Do not wash those towels with any whites and do not use white towels at the pool or beach.

SPA POOLS AND SAUNA

Spa pools are located adjacent to Chalets 2, 4, 5 and 6 and opposite Chalet 1. Residents of Chalet 8 have the use of an indoor pool in that block.

A sauna and associated cold plunge pool is located on the path between Chalets 2 & 3. The sauna is unlocked with the 2nd key on your key ring. Please take care to ensure all power is switched off after use of the sauna.

GYMNASIUM

A small Gym with modern equipment is available on the lower ground floor of the core block. The gym is for regular gym users over the age of 20. It is NOT a fun place for the young

The disc to provide power for the equipment is available from the office. The door is unlocked with the second key on your key ring. Please make sure it is locked when you are finished and the power disc is returned to the office.

BARBEQUES

Two built in barbeques are available outside the main lounge of the core block. They are fired by natural gas. Please leave them clean and tidy after use.

CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND

A professionally built children's playground is situated close by the tennis court. It is for the use of young children up to the age oil 10. A trampoline is available in the same area. Parental supervision ss advised.

BICYCLES

A selection of adult and children's bicycles are available. They are designed for riding on the flat. Indeed thev ma,v not be ridden on the resort because of the steep grades. Cycle helmets are also available.

The 2nd key on your key ring unlocks the bicycles. Please ensure that they are securely locked when you return them

BOARDWALK IN THE BUSH

A boardwalk through native bush starts by the lily pond near the tennis court and ends near the bottom of Chalet 8. On the wa,v it passes orchids in the bush as well as in the orchid house. It is lit in the evenings and glow worms have been seen along it in favourable weather conditions.

Care is needed in winter and during wet weather

TOUR BOOKING FACILITY

A tour booking facility. operated by resort staff. is provided from the kiosk adjacent to the owners lounge. All tours are booked with NZ owned local operators. To provide an introduction to tours a coffee morning is held at 9.30am on Sunday morning and representatives are present to provide information and ans ver questions. There are a wide variety of tours and activities like game and schnaper fishing Support the resort's own tour booking facility and make it self supporting. There is no booking fee or commission to be paid.

HAPPY HOUR

A Happy Hour is held each Monday evening between 5 30 and 6 30pm in the lounge. Refreshments are available at no charge. It is an opportunity to meet other owners and exchangers staying on the resort. You can hear where other people are from and of their experiences with timeshare. Dinner, at own cost. is arranged at a local restaurant for those wishing to amend. Coach transport, no charge, is available between the resort and the restaurant.

INDOOR GAMES

Pool is available for adults in the lounge and for children in their playroom opposite Reception. Table Tennis is also available on the lounge. Bats can be obtained on loan form the office.. Balls are NOT provided but may be purchased at Reception.

POT LUCK DINNER

If there is sufficient interest among people present a pot luck dinner is held on Wednesday evening in or adjacent to the lounge according to the weather. Bring along what you would like for dinner and share it with others who are there. It is an informal opportunity to mix with other people staying on the resort.

LIBRARY

A selection of books from the resort libran are placed in each vmit. They may be exchanged at the library in the core block. Donations of books for the library are always welcome.
