These strange specimens are called Ganguro (The Tanned Ones). Lou-san on the end, followed by Mi-san and a stoic, pouting Jon-san on the end. This was for a sample debate at a Kurume High School seminar I went to. The kids were amazing, and spoke English only for three days straight. We did not, however, fare so well, as you can see.... |
