Who Am I?

"Who Am I?" That's a really good question. I have spent most of my life (except for that 3 hours I was lost in the city of Newark) traveling the world in search of my true self. But here are the facts:
  1. I was born in Taiwan on the Chinese lunar year of the Dragon on the 15th day of the 7th month, as I was told by my parents since I can't recall the actual sequence of events.
  2. Moved to the United States at a young age to naturally become a citizen of the United States (or was that a naturalized citizen. I can never tell the difference.)
  3. Stuck in the fine state of New Jersey for 20 years back in the late 20th century learning the correct pronounciation for "Pequannock." (I did escape to the truly "fine" city state of Singapore for two years but without fruition.)
  4. Reluctantly got my Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken NJ, or more popularly known as the birth place of Frank Sinatra.
  5. Unintentionally received my Master degree in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University in the City of New York. Enough said.
  6. Worked in the telecommunication industry for more than 10 years with the goal of owning my own telephone company, irregardless if it is a long-distance, local exchange, wireless, wireful, inter-satellite, ether-based, comet-based, inter-lata, intra-galatic or inter-planetary company.
  7. Moved to the Silicon Valley in search of the elusive dream of joining an internet company that's worth a gazillion dollars in market value but has never turned a profit. But we all know how that turned out.
  8. Got married and settled down in the little tiny corner of Santa Clara, CA. Still attempting to learn the true meaning of the word "domesticated."
