Summer 1996 - for 45 days, I went on a trip around Western Europe by Eurorail. This was the trip that started my desire to travel MORE and MORE! |
Maps |
I have been traveling since July, 1996 through 51 countries. Sometimes I stay for a very long time, and sometimes I just cross through to get to another country. Short or long, my stays have always been memoriable. This page allows me to share with you my travel experiences. Some people ask me where my favorite place in the world is...and I respond, "Each country and city or village I visit has its own beauty and charm." Some places that were recommended to me were great dissappointments when I arrived. There were places not mentioned in any guide book that seemed like hidden treasure! Nothing makes you feel more free and alive as traveling does. You can go anywhere, anytime and on any budget no matter what you may think. This life is not for everyone, but it's sure for me! Come and share the world with me through my eyes! |

Through Cambodia to Vietnam. North through Hanoi to central China and south from Beijing to Tibet and finally to Nepal and India. 6 months of pure travel! Life will never be the same! |
September 11, 1997 to February 9, 1998 I was backpacking through Eastern and Western Europe and the Indian sub-continent. The trip started a couple of days after Princess Diana's Funeral and ended a day after my birthday! From the UK to Sweden and then east to Poland, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria, I made more friends as I traveled and visited more places I never expected to go like Hitchhiking from Zagreb, Croatia with 2 girls I met in Budapest! I got a touch of the Middle East in istanbul. It was my first time in Asia when I went to India and Nepal, and the first time I met my mother's side of the family. Come and see an amazing 5-month journey! |
