·         Supplied leadership on a complex migration of financial and legal management software (Oasis) from Windows and UNIX to DB2 and MVS for Wal-mart Corporation
·         Identified critical problem during conversion and introduced a scaled-back solution, enabling on-time completion. Worked 10 hours per day to deliver a full-scale migration of MVS DB2 cash claim system to Oracle on Windows NT and Unix, from customer specification to design, build, test and document; worked directly with client from design through completion.
·         Rapidly got team members up to speed on DB2; convinced client to rent time at the local IBM customer service center to expedite development.
·         Took the lead on numerous other projects, working directly with clients on specifications, designs and troubleshooting.
