Mickey Spillane
What else is there to say about a man whose books sold in more
than 160 million copies?!? Many respected critics tried to undermine both
Spillane and the character he created; Mike Hammer. But, Mike Hammer will
forever remain as one of my favorite heroes and I'll always gladly go back to
Spillanes books. Everything began with "I the Jury". Book that was
written in only six days completely influenced my taste in books for the
following ten years.
