My Family

My family is a very important part of my life. Below is some information about them.

My parents were Albert Price Waggonner (from St. Louis, MO) and Geneva Smith Waggonner (of Alexandria, LA). I was born in Natchez, MS on Christmas Eve, 1937 to a young teenager named Pauline Nelson (picture), who gave me up for adoption to the Waggonners when I was less than a month old. I lived in Natchez all my life until I met Raymond Allen Smith of McComb, MS. We married on August 25, 1957 (see wedding picture) and had three children: Joyce Elaine (Smith) Deer (web page) (picture), Jon Raymond Smith and Jeffrey Waggonner Smith (picture) .

Joyce has two children, Kelly Elizabeth (Deer) Dye (picture) and Kevin Edward Deer (picture) and lives in Hattiesburg, MS, where she is a math teacher at Oak Grove High School and Pearl River Community College. Kelly is married to James Hollis Dye (picture) of Hattiesburg , and they have one child, James Alston Dye (picture).

Jon is married to the former Amy Wilks of Tylertown, MS and has two children, Ashley Nicole Smith and Meagan Olivia Smith. They now live in Victoria TX where Jon is an engineer with Slumber-J Drilling.

Jeff is married to the former Karen Fortier of Canada and has two children, Jessica Haley Smith and Brandon Tyler Smith. They live in Austin TX, where Jeff is an engineer with Dell Computers. Click here if you want to see some more pictures of my family.
