As Our Worlds Burn, We Stand as One!
As our deepest, darkest night terrors became real
As you took our innocents, you placed a seal on your destiny, our victory, and you forever changed the world
Our souls have united and our flags were again unfurled.
We will weep and cry, and mourn our dead
And we'll stand as ONE and forge ahead
We will not quit until justice prevails
Although above the bombs can be heard our soulful wails.
If changing the world was the goal for which you aimed
Have no illusions your mission you've gained
But hear us well, OUR mission has just begun
And will not end until justice is done.
The people of America did not this war start
It merely responded to your arrows in our heart
We will mourn your innocents that get caught in the fray
And will cry for them as our own until our dying day.
As our leader has proclaimed to you and the world
We will never give up, nor falter, nor fail, while wielding the sword
We will fight for justice with endless tears streaming
And claim our victory with our hearts' voices screaming.
Peace on earth, God gave us the stead
Our tears become one as we still search for our dead
We will pray for your souls although you took ours
Peace is what we seek, vengeance is God's, not ours.
So as our worlds burn and the smoke rises high
Remember our words and cast your eye
Upon your shadow for it is no longer your own
It is the shadow of death which you called upon alone.
