FLORIDA

November 2003

Jason and I took a short trip to see his sister Natalie in Florida. We had not seen her or really spoken to her since May 2000. It was SO nice to see her again. While we were there we visited a few places in Florida, including Ginnie Springs (in Hand Springs), Gainsville (Where the University of Florida is located), and St. Augustine (The oldest still standing city in the U.S. and advertised as the most haunted).

GINNIE SPRINGS:
Click above to view an area in Ginnie Springs called the Devil's Ear and the Devil's Eye. It was very tranquil and beautiful. They have natural cracks in the floor where warm water is coming from inside the earth. We put our feet in and it felt like a heated swimming pool. We also saw a few divers going into the many natural caves that are there.

ST. AUGUSTINE:
We took one of their many Ghost tours here. We had a tour guide that would walk us aroung to a lot of the historical haunted places and told us stories about the spirits that haunt these dwellings. We didn't see any abnormal activity, but we had a ghoslty time.

Well, on our way to catch our flight home, the rental car (this Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder Convertible) got a flat tire... OH NO!!! while waiting on the side of the road, we missed our scheduled flight. Luckily, the air line was more than willing to work with us to get us home. We had to spend the night in the Attlanta airport, but we made it home safe.
