Uruguay is a lovely peaceful natural break from the hardcore city life in buenos aires, julietas dad invited me and julieta over for a long weekend to stay in him and his wifes flat, i was blown away by the place, it is on floor 21 the very top, and the view is incredible, there is a photo of it on the next page, but it does not do it justice.
  Punta eleste is the poshest and most expensive beach resort in the whole of south america, and is packed with posh argie kids which is the only downfall, otherwise its a beutiful place, from the piccies you can see the pininsula and the coast on either side. One side is the sea, which is quite rough with lots of waves, and on the right is the calm bit with lots of families, i prefered that one, very chilled.

Julietas dad lent me his car, which was a nice 2 seater honda , with one of those automatic fold down roofs, well posey, it definetly fitted the surroundings, and was great to drive, on the last night we cruise up to the poshest casino, and julieta promtly lost 50 dollars playing blackjack, but i stuck to my system with the roullette and won her money back and after a few very nailbiting moments walked out 350 dollars up! yipee! that was a good chunk towards my ticket to the carnival!
