This page is merely a page that allows you, the dear reader,
to know who I am.
Philosophy Toward Life
You may come to this page and wonder just who this guy is and what he's doing here. I am a 44-year-old kid at heart. Yep, statistically halfway through life! Don't even know how I got here! But really, I'm a normal guy. I have feelings and emotions just like everyone else. I am married (on my second marriage), a father to two out-of-the-nest girls and a stepfather to four men. I can also say that the life God has granted me is rewarding. Not everything is perfect and is probably of my own doing. Nevertheless, I am very happy.
Professional Life
I am an electrical engineer by training and an automation engineer by
profession. This means that I have attended college and achieved my
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. My work is centered
around that of automatic controls equipment and wireless communications.
In technical jargon, the terms I use commonly are: PLC, fieldbus,
redundancy, process control, host, target, ethernet, HMI, code, GIGO,
and other idiosyncracies of the geek world. Gary Larson's Far Side
makes perfect sense to me!
I do enjoy my work. I think that with my personality (a little bit
silly, a little bit anal) I couldn't be in a better place in
life. If you're looking for some automation help, just
click here and let's talk. Also, I
am a member of LinkedIn, so if you're also 'Linked In', perhaps we can
connect and network professionally.
Recreational Life
I have two different hobbies I take to heart. The first is
sailing and the second is
guitars. Sailing I've done since I was sixteen
years old (I'm sure you can do the math!) and guitars for only about the
past year or so.
So, anyway, now that you have been loosely introduced, feel free to
explore the other webpages to learn more. I hope to keep updating my
life whenever something important comes across the radar screen.
