Letter from Darryl | ||||||||||||||||
According to National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice, the CIA prepared a briefing for President Bush on Aug. 6, 2001, titled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States." That document reportedly warned of hijackers attacking American symbols of commerce. So what was the President's response? Why, to take a month off work -- the longest presidential vacation in 32 years -- to go clear cedar brush at his new ranch in Crawford, Texas. Those who claim Bush was asleep on the job in regard to dealing with the 9/11 terror threats have it all wrong. He wasn't even ON the job. |
