The Box hedges are over 200 years old. They already were a part of Sir William Parson's garden in the 17th century. Furthermore, they are recognized by the Guinness Book of Records to be the highest Box hedges in the world. |
There's even a small lake in the castle's park which is the home of several water bird species, such as ducks. |
