Photo Page Pholks!

Calcutta: Typical street scene in Calcutta with the Big famous Mosque in the background. This was taken the day before I left india which was about 26th Nov I do believe.

Dominica: Friend of mine from Uni. She went to a Hindu wedding and all the female guests get their hands do like this at the Mendi party (kinda like a hen party but without the strippers!!). Anyway she said it only took about 15mins to get done. The bride gets up to her elbows done in the henna designs and her feet as far as her ankles.

Elephant: ...and in my spare time I like to wash elephants! This was taken the week before I decided to volenteer at the sanctuary, around dec 10th. It was a stinking hot day too and I was only too glad to get in the water.

Fullmoon: This is a lovely shot, its novembers full moon over the bay of Bengal from Mamallapuram. That was a really lovely night on the beach and dominica was there with me, we watched the waves on the moon till we got too cold....

Ganesh: Remember I said I'd met this eccentric irish millionaire who was blowing his interritance on making 3 tonne ganesh statues for his own personal sculpture park in Wicklow? WEll this is one of them...coming soon to Ireland - you saw it here first folks.

Guiness: This is me sampling Nepalese Guniess in Paddy Foleys Irish pub Kathmandu. It was awful of course but the staff were a bit of craic.

Kuala Lumpur: Taken on the night I arrived dec 2nd, from the top of an 18 story building. Lovely Stuff.

Moonrakers: A typical noctural scene in Moonrakers restaurant, Mamallapuram. The guy on the extreme left was a bit of a babe :-)

Paddy O'Reillys Pub: Me and Jay the Tazmanian I travelled with in Rajastan who I met again in Kathmandu and Chris the Canuk. I met him in Kathmandu and he made a surprise reappearance on Ko Samui. Taken in the Irish pub.

School st: Kinda a chilled out country scene from Mamallapuram on the morning I had to leave the place (sniff, sniff)

Track 10: Me getting active for once hiking Track 10 of the Jungle walks in Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. Notice my groovy camoflage gear (not!) featuring Scotties trousers. Taken just before new years.
