This website virtually shows you
the Pearl of the Orient, called Goa, or as I like to say: "Goa-way from Home".
Goa is part of the Mystic Land of India, where I spent six months
in 1982 in the coastal city of Bombay (Mumbai - Hindi) March 16 thru May in the Byculla suburb at the Salvation Army hostel, and near the Gateway to India SA hostel downtown.
Later, 250 miles south, from near the end of May thru September 25, 1982, I was pleasured to live in beautiful tropical Goa along the Arabian Sea, on the west coast of India. First I stayed overnight in a hotel, then for a few days at the Old Goa monastery turned into an Old Folks and Teen Orphans home, later at two places in Calangute Beach, and lastly, at a tourist lodge in the Goa State capital city in downtown Panjim (Panaji - Hindi).
