The Boardwalk is my favorite Disney Resort for many reasons. View of the Villas from the water
this is how the villas would look if walking(or taking the boat) over from EPCOT. The wooden boardwalk extends all the way around the resort, over to the Yacht and Beach Club, past the gateway to the Swan and Dolphin, then back to the BW. A great night time activity is to rent the Surry bikes that hold 2-8 people and take them for a spin -just watch those hills on the way up!!! The little ones sit up front and have bell ringing duty.

As I'm a DVC member I have never stayed on the Boardwalk Inn side. The Rooms here can hold up to 5 guests. They also have some very nice garden suites, perfect for a special occasion. The Inn side has a pool and is connected to the conference center.

Like many seaside buildings the 'front' faces the water. This picture looks towards the hotel lobby. Outside the lobby is a deck with rocking chairs. They also have an outside stairway so visitors do not have to enter through the lobby. Many people visit the Boardwalk to shop, dine, or enjoy the clubs. Note the surry bikes in the picture. During peak seasons you may want to rent your bike early, or you may be out of luck. Also, you do not have to be a guest of the Boardwalk to rent one.

If you are staying or visiting the Boardwalk (and using the valet parking which I recommend because the walk to the parking lot is a big one. note; valet parking is free to all Disney Resort Guests after 6 pm) you would arrive here first. Not really that impressive from this side, but when you go into the lobby, WOW!.......
The atmosphere reflects an old fashion seaside resorts of the 20's and 30's. It also has something for all age family members, toddler to teen, to Grandma and Grandpa. Even a great swing club 'Atlantic Dance' and the 'ESPN Club' for the family sports fan. I really enjoy the fact that EPCOT is just a short walk away. The Boardwalk Villas is a DVC(Disney Vacation Club)Resort and the Inn is the hotel side. So welcome, and take a tour of my favorite Disney resort.
