BIG Changes at Tower of Terror
(March 99)

Disney thought they should add more 'thrills and chills' to TOT by updating the computer program and adding new drop sequences. The computer will choose one of six new sequences which will have atleast three full drops, a half drop, and several fake outs.... Plus it also shakes alittle. I rode the new improved TOT this March and it was great!!! This is a must do attraction at WDW.

Touring Tip: The lines are very long first thing in the morning as everyone heads to TOT first. Try going back about 11 am or during lunch for a shorter wait time.
E-Tix Nights for August 1999

The dates for E tix. nights at the Magic Kingdom are as Follows:

August 3, 10, 17, 24, from 11pm to 2 am. And August 31, from 10pm to 1 am.

E Tix night is only for guests staying at a WDW Resort. The cost is $10 per person.
Is it worth it?? Yes, especially when the parks have been crowded. It is all the best rides with no lines. The characters will also be running about, last trip my 2 year old spent about 20 min. with Mickey (just the two of them -no mobs!) Now that is 'Disney Magic'.

Current E-tix. rides:
Timekeeper
Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Country Bear Jamboree
Astro Orbiter
Alien Encounter
Haunted Mainsion
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
EPCOT'S Flower and Garden Festival

Dates: 04/16-05/30/99

This is a wonderful event, especially for those gardening enthusiasts. This is an annual event that takes place throughout Epcot. Experts will also be onhand to give free seminars.

!!!! It's Back !!!!!

The Main Street Electrical Parade

A true classic has returned to WDW. The original Main Street Electrical Parade debuted in 1977. However this is not the original one. Disney Worlds version was sent to Disneyland Paris. This is the parade from Disneyland California. This version features some scenes never seen before in Florida, like Peter Pan's pirate ship and the Seven Dwarfs mining train. Disny has updated the parade by improving the sound system and adding new shinier materal to the floats. The theme song "Baroque Hoedown" will again be featured, and I have to tell you I can already hear it playing in my mind, I'll have to add it to this site-lol.

Will it live up to SpectoMagic? For nostalgic reasons alone I say yes. However I will have to see it again and decide for myself. At any rate it will be great to share this parade with my children.
Great News for Disabled Guests staying at the Contemporary Resort !

Disney has added a new elevator that will allow guests with disabilities or similar needs to reach the monorail platform. It the past you had to be able to get out of your wheelchair or stroller to reach the monoail platform.
