The premiere of Mamma Mia! in London was certainly an exciting event (though I thought the show was awful, an opinion that didn't change when we saw the show again two days later). It was rather bizarre being in the crush outside the theatre and personally knowing about half of the people in the crowd! The premiere was attended by a crop of English celebrities, as well as Björn and Benny and their families (we didn't actually get to see much of Björn and Benny outside the theatre, though we did get up close and personal with most of their family members). But at least we got to see them come out on stage at the end of the show. The most fun of the night was just being there in all the excitement, and catching up with new friends met along the trip. More of London. . . |
