Imperial palace locates in the center of Tokyo in the place of former Edo castle, and surrounded by deep forest and water space. It is impossible to see the building where Emperor lives from outside. Eastern side of Imperial palace is Marunochi and Otemachi district, where head offices of the largest companies in Japan locates. Southern side is Kasumigaseki where major Government offices locate. Nagatacho has offices for politicians and parties. Parliament is beside Kasumigaseki and Nagatacho district.
