....About the Lake
Plum Lake is a large, deep lake adjacent to the town
of Sayner. Its irregular shoreline encmpasses an area of 1200
acres with a maximum depth of 57 feet. Its size, depth, fertility
and varied composition provide for a large and varied fishery.
the water is very fertile and exceptionally clear. The shoreline
is 30% state owned. There are two paved public boat launches,
one within a half-mile of the Woodlands. There is just the right
mix of "Pristine-ness" and civilization, or lack there-of.
