On a typical deep sea
4-hour trip, you will go up to 10 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico and fish
wrecks and ledges using live bait for fish such as permit, shark, cobia,
grouper, snapper, barracuda and jew fish. They can be as large as 200lbs so be
ready to hang on and reel.
I
guarantee you will catch fish!
If you prefer to fish in the calm backwaters
then come aboard the 25-foot open fisherman complete with T-Top, electronics
and powered by a 200 Mercury outboard. Using light tackle with jigs, you will
cast into the calm bays and around the islands (one the many 10,000 islands)
for snook, pompano, redfish, tarpon, snapper, trout and mackerel.
Let a captain, with 21 years commercial fishing experience, take you in the
warm waters of Southwest Florida for a 4, 6 or 8 hour private charter (up to 6
people) which includes quality, rigged tackle, bait (live and jigs), iced
downed coolers and your fishing licenses. Capt. Wayne is licensed by the U.S.
Coast Guard, insured and sponsored by Mercury Outboards. He enjoys sharing his
knowledge of the area with those on board, including children (he has 2 of his
own). On his personalized charters, your hooks are baited, lines are untangled
and fish are either released, held for mounting or filleted-and-bagged at the
end of the trip. Instruction is provided for beginners.
