Helsinki
I spent two years in Helsinki in 1998-99. This is quite a long time: I will always think of Helsinki as my second home city (Budapest is the first). Helsinki is a very attractive place to live: it has nice and honest people, reasonable cultural life, good public transport (and other community services), low crime rate, lots of parks, clean air (there is always fresh wind from the sea), and I have even found its climate tolerable.

Although Helsinki is usually considered less attractive touristically than some other cities in the region (like Tallinn, Stockholm or St. Petersburg), it is still a beautiful city with a lot of interesting sights and nice details. Here are some pictures to demonstrate this:
