The Blue Mountains are just one and a half hours away from Sydney by Train.

Leave from Central Railway and take the train to Katoomba. Then, when you arrive at the station walk towards the Three Sisters Lookout.

You can walk the Giant Stairway down to the valley where you can meet a few coloured parrots.
