After Brugge, we had one day to kill so we decided to spend it in Brussells. To be honest, my first impression of Brussells wasn't that flash. I had read somewhere that most of the city was destroyed in World War 2 and once you got there you could see that it had been rebuilt quickly, cheaply, and without much thought for trying to maintain the beauty of the old city.
Luckily though we were told to check out the main square and although I was doubtful after seeing other parts of Brussells, once I saw it, I new this must have been a amazing city once. |

Every building in this square was phenomenal, but the best (or my favorite one anyway) had to be the town hall. The entire building was so entricate, the attention to detail was unsurpassed! (thats it on the left in case you were wondering, and there are other pics coming up too!) |
