After we saw the castle, took a walk down Princes Street (the main and DEFINATELY most scenic street in Edinburgh!) we went back to the house to "prepare" for the game. For all of you NON-Kiwi's out there, to get ready for the game we all had to kit-up....put on out All Black jerseys, our black pants, our All Black beanies, then the final touch....the war paint! (as seen in the pics below) After we were suitably attaired, we started the next step before watching the All Blacks.....we went to the pub! Which luckily for us was a whole 100 metres from Murrayfield where the game was being played. Catriona was supposed to meet us in that pub, but as the time to leave got closer and closer, she still hadn't shown up! Barely minutes before we were due to go, I stepped outside the pub to try and call Cat, only to see her walking towards me dripping wet, but still looking good (how does she do that?). So now that the gang was all here, it was off to the game!!!!! |

To the right is a pic taken in the pub of me, Fiona's friend, Fiona, and Steve. I really enjoyed the game and Catriona and I had our opposing chants going out for the whole game, so it was a good laugh, and even better a win for the AB's! Now of course came the part of the game that every rugby fan in the world waits for.....the celebration! So it was back to the pub again. Unfortunately Cat couldn't stay long as she had her Mum's car and couldn't drink, so she left pretty early, but the rest of us carried on til god knows what hour! |

To the left is another "war paint" pic, this time with Patria in the bottom left. After a few hours at the pub, we headed down to the grass markets, which is the area of Edinburgh where most the nightclubs are. I would like to say I will remember this night for the rest of my life, but unfortunately it was a rather blurred evening (for reasons that don't need to be explained) |
