Well, we had only walked a few minutes when we came across one of the flatmates on her way home (Catriona), so the three of us kept walking towards the flat. We made it maybe another 100 metres down the road when out of nowhere, this guy runs up behind us and sticks his arms around the girls! Well, it turns out this is ANOTHER flatmate, Gerard, and he says we should go to the pub where Nicole (another flatmate) is working, so we're all up for a pint and wander down to Danger Doyles. Nic is still working so she gets us a couple of pints on the sly and we settle in for a couple. Eventually Nic finsihes work and we decide to continue the drinking at a pub closer to the flat, so we head off to the Castle. And there we stayed until closing, all pissed off our nuts and I still haven't seen the damn flat!! But that didn't matter, I had already decided that I was moving in with this lot! So the first time I saw my bed was 2 seconds before I fell asleep in it for the first time! The pic on the left is of out lounge and Lindsays bedroom combined and the pic below was taken at the Castle before I ever made it back to the flat.....what a massive night that was! (thats Nicole, Cat, Gerard and ME) |

I can honestly say that moving into 47 James St was the best thing that happened to me while I was travelling. I have met some of the coolest people ever there and have made friends that I will stay in touch with forever. We used to call ourselves the James St family and thats exactly what we were like, a family. | |||||||||||||||
