My new home was curtesy of Jethro (aka the sparky formally known as Peter) and Tania. Tania's cousin Simen and his fionce Tara were living in Acton and their Aussie flatmate (Kim) was moving out......and thats where I came in!
I moved into the place and was greeted by Blair (one of the Kiwi flatmates) and Mark (another Kiwi who was dossing there at the time). No one was home and there was nothing on telly, so the two of them introduced me to Hot Knives...

The small pics on the wall in the pic on the right are all of different parts of NZ and had a nasty habit of making you feeling homesick really easy...not to mention pointing out exactly how little of NZ I had actually seen!
