Rome
After a bit more exploring, Maude made a new friend in a vegetarian moggy. (see the pic below) We have no idea where the cat came from but it sure knew how to get food out of animal lovers! And Maude didn't have to be purred at twice!
The pic on the left is me in the section of grass where we chilled out for so long.
After the cat ate us out of food, we decided that it was time to make a concentrated effort to see more of what Rome had to offer. Luckilly for us....we did a hell of a lot better this time.
The first place we found....which actually wasn't that far from our bath-house haven, was the Colliseum. I had no idea how fucking huge this place was! I was more than just a little impressed. Although the actors dressed
as Roman solidiers who were parading around didn't do anything for the authentisity of the place!
Unfortunately, a lot of the Colliseum was covered by scaffolding, but thanks to some superb photography by Maude, you wouldn't have known that would you?
