Sitges
I could not believe how hot it was in Sitges . . . at one stage I actually had to make a desperate stumble towards a hat shop to get out of the sun for fear of fainting. But I'm sure that had nothing to do with the fact that I hadn't eaten anything and had been laying in the sun all day.
To the right you can see our "hat photo", me and Tates had just bought ours that day...only Ange had come prepared with a hat! Amazing...that girl thinks of everything!
To the left and below are the made up entirely of flowers and bits of flowers. These people were up all night doing these. They were so impressive. It was all part of a local festival.....what is was celebrating escapes me at the moment, but the streets were packed and there were parades, street and flower decorations, music....its was really amazing.
The only downer of the whole thing was that there were so many people there that after a while the whole crowd sindrome set in, and it became really hard to enjoy yourself when you were constantly fighting just to have your own bit of space.
