The first glimpse Looey
had of Bowman lake was
this one of a fishing boat
through the trees. You can
also see the trail we were
following. |
|
|
Josh delighted in walking faster than the rest of us
so that he could hide along the rail and take pictures
as we caught up to him. |
Joy couldn't resist going down
to the waters edge to see how
cold the lake was. The path was
a little more challenging on the
return. But she made it. |
|
|
Richard thought this was a beautiful spot
for a picture of Linda. Josh thought it
was a good chase to get a picture of some
one taking a picture. The rest of us were
just observers.
|
Josh liked taking pictures
of others taking pictures
here he caught Linda.
|
|
|
Here we are exiting the trail.
If you look closely in the picture
you can see the surprise we had waiting
for us when we returned to our cars.
|
The deer had moved into the woods
between the trail and the cars.
There was a family of deer among
the trees. Even with people
everywhere. Here are two of them.
|
|
|
Hey Looey, forget the one behind the trees.
There's two in the bushes right in front of
you. Actually all of us were spotting deer
everywhere we looked.
|
Josh is at it again,
this time he only got the hand.
Notice the deer in the bushes.
These are the ones right in
front of Looey in the above picture.
|
|
|
Looey couldn't resist taking this picture
of the park ranger who came by while we
were taking deer pictures. The ranger said
the deer were so used to people they had lost
their fear of man.
