The first time we came across the goats
all three of them were resting on the
snow bank. Posing for cameras.
|
When Josh, and the kids with
him, were returning the goats
walked along the path ahead
of them for some time then... |
|
|
Mama and the yearling moved
to one cliff... |
with the baby on the other side
of the path from mama. It posed an
interesting question: "Do we walk
between a goat and her kid? |
|
|
When Looey and Joy came back
the yearling was busy munching
on a bush beside the path. The
question we had was: "Do we
go by him? It meant getting
really close.
|
We decide to try it and
see what he did. He marched
across the path down to a
ledge and posed for this
picture. When we were past,
he went back to his bush dinner.
|
|
|
When we passed the munching goat
we wondered where the other goats
had gone. It was long before we
found them grazing on a patch of
grass or at least a patch of green.
|
When we arrived back at the
parking lot we were in for
a surprise. Another goat!
This time it was a ram. He
was meandering through the
parking lot like he owned it.
Who's going to tell him he didn't?
|
|
|
Then he stopped for a photo-op.
And a drink from a puddle on the lot.
We were concerned about the possible
anti-freeze contamination so gave him
a puddle of water instead.
|
As we were leaving another
ram came sauntered by.
