Carrying the name MG Midget could conjure pre war midgets, but this 1963 Midget is definitely post war!  (So is the driver...) One of the most hard used classic cars in the area, Clive Taylor's Midget number 63 has been raced, sprinted, hillclimbed and auto tested.  Clive is not a small man but pedals the Midget very quickly as his times will show.

Clive collected the award for "Most Sporting Driver" for the 2000/2001 season and has been with the series since it started and in its forerunner, the BMC Series.  In 2002, Clive almost won the series, but a small oversight - running out of fuel, cost him dear at the double points round.

The race series these days is at Taupo in the central North Island and Pukekohe, a few kms south of Auckland but has alsi included Manfeild and the street race at Whangarei in 2000.
