A little about me.
Hello and welcome to my home page. Nice of you to stop by and visit. I was born in Joppa, Illinois where I attended Joppa Elementary and Joppa High. I then migrated to Springfield to attend nursing and anesthesia school. Graduating from St. John's School of Nursing in 1967, I began studies in nurse anesthesiology at St. John's School of Nurse Anesthesiology after which I finished in 1969. I continued to work at St. John's for most of 20 years then decided to move to Florida.
I now live in Miami and work at a major hosptial here. I like anesthesia as if affords one a sense of accomplishment by providing surigcal patients comfort and safety during their course of surgery. It is challenging but none-the-less rewarding.
Miami has been my home for 20 years. It's an exciting city offering a myriad of activities, the arts, a mulitude of cultural eperiences from the many nationalities who make this their home. And of course, the oceanic experience is one of the most popular items.
I enjoy the arts ... classical music, opera, ballet. I listen to all types of music but classical is my favorite.
I enjoy a good movie; a thriller that puts me on the edge of my seat or a tear jerker will do just fine. As long as it is done well and the acting is good, I can watch most any movie. Don't really like Sci-Fi.
I like to take photos with my digital camera. It takes such clear pictures and it's so easy to send to friends on the internet or print yourself. The technology today blows me away. Where was this when I was younger? The youth today have so much to be thankful for. I wonder if they realize the advantages they have? I doubt they think about that.
