GEOLOGY WEB SITE
This site is divided into two main sections:
* Links to Geologically Related Web Sites (Table of Contents) (constantly under construction)
* Virtual Geologic Field Trips (guidebooks need to be incorporated into the site)
Links to Geologically Related Web Sites:
This section includes links to sites with a geologic theme that I have come across in my web travels. The site is divided into categories as listed in the Table of Contents and within each category I have tried to list the site titles alphabetically. I am constantly in the process of editing and adding to the list. I think I found all the bad links, but if you come across any, please let me know by e-mail.
Virtual Geologic Field Trips:
This is a new section which I am very excited about. I have been in Venezuela since January 1998 and have been on a number of geologic field trips with the Sociedad Venezolana de Geologos (SVG). (For the linguistic purists, there should be an accent over the first 'o' in Geologos. However, the Yahoo/Geocities`web site construction software does not support accented letters, at least it isn't apparent.)
The photos I have taken during these trips have formed the basis for one SVG guidebook and an update of another, both of which I have received permission from the SVG, Zulia Section to publish here. I only have to figure how best to do it so that downloading or viewing is quick and easy.
