FEELING GO - BRIEF MIRTH IN PERTH
(REMEMBER: IF YOU'RE MENTIONED BY NAME ITS COS I LOVE YOU DEARLY. IF YOU'RE NOT, ITS ONLY TO PROTECT MYSELF IN THE LIBEL COURT)
After a two day touch-down in Sydney to tie up some loose ends and say some goodbyes I flew all the way across Australia to Perth, for no other real reason other than to use up my last remaning flight of my round the world ticket and to do some shopping.
Perth is the most remote city on the planet, and compared to the other Australian cities it seemed a very peaceful place. It didn't do anything for me. Still, I wasn't here to sight-see, just to shop for a few essentials that I would need over the forthcoming few weeks in Africa. I did however happen upon this tribute to one of Perth's most famous sons.
Me and a tribute to Rolf Harris on Perth's own Walk Of Fame.
Once my shopping was done there was nothing left to do but to sit it out for a couple of days and wait for my flight to Johannesburg.
... And this is how I spent my last night in Australia.
Laura, Me and Helen: "You scratch my back..."
Time to go...
