FEELING GO - KAIKORA
(REMEMBER: IF YOU'RE MENTIONED BY NAME ITS COS I LOVE YOU DEARLY. IF YOU'RE NOT, ITS ONLY TO PROTECT MYSELF IN THE LIBEL COURT)
Its beautiful. Its chilled. It does cheap fish & chips. But the main reason people flock to Kaikora is for the wildlife. You can dive with sharks, swim with dolphins, or do what I did and go whale watching.
My hawkeyed whale spotters scan the horizon...
"...THERE SHE BLOWS!"
The tail of a diving spermwhale.
After a hard days whale watching, what could be a better way to relax than having a good star gaze?
...Or to pretend you're in the "Yellow" video?
I was lucky enough to witness a session of traditional Kaikoran Wrestling. Here's a photo of that demonstration.
