The Country House Riva Verde was born with some good intent, in order to welcome
guests in the best way.
Riva Verde is a young establishment, organized to give a good reception and
information about the great event "Giubileo".
Riva Verde is situated in the heart of the green Umbria, at a distance of one
hour, by train or by car, from Rome.
The name of the locality is Baschi. Baschi is a storic center of the Middle Ages
and it's the most turistic place that people visit with a lot of interest.
People learn a lot of historical happening, for example to visit the Cathedral
of Orvieto, that is very wonderful. Orvieto is eight miles from our Country
House.
In Baschi it's possible to go to fish, to ride a horse or a bicycle, to visit
the countryside.
In our Country House you can find a very good plain cooking, a very delicious
local dishes.
You can find a wide assortment of very good wines that we produce like:
"Greghetto", "Orvieto classico".
There are a lot of pleasures; such as the swimming-pool when you can swim all
day long, where around you can find field wich has grass and flowers growing in
it.
