Bausch & Lomb
Global eyecare specialists
Bausch and Lomb donated a year's supply of SofLens disposable contact lenses to Rebecca. After three months, here's her verdict.

Used:
Daily

Performance:
In three months I must have needed around 70 pairs. Out of these just three lenses were split when I took them from the packets. They were brilliant for our trip which involved travelling and camping in rain, very bright sunlight, dusty and sandy conditions. If a lens got gritty I simply removed it and put in a new one.

Wearing lenses enabled me to see in the rain - my glasses simply steam up or are obscured; cycle in sunglasses when in ordinary specacles I was blinded or squinting; swim and kayak without worrying I might lose an expensive set of specs or lenses. Also Rob's hard lenses clogged up and got scratched. No such worries for me! Also no need to carry/replace any bottles of solution...

Half way into our London to Athens ride I had an eye infection caused by bad cleaning techniques... My eyes still feel good after three months on the road!

Verdict:
Perfect for travelling and taking part in all types of sport. Invaluable.
