The Farm
The "Fattoria Gli Spinoni" is located in the heart of the Arno river valley, in the green Tuscany Hills surrounding the castles of Vinci, the village where Leonardo was born. The farm is in the area of Cerreto Guidi, a village whose origins go back to the 14th Century. The "Fattoria Gli Spinoni" was built in the late 19th century and is composed by a main house with the apartments - the oldest construction - and two minor buildings, the most recent ones. The first building is equipped to host parties while in the second one there is a small "pizzeria" with an oven where to cook pizzas, meat and so on. Out of the "pizzeria" there is a small patio where to enjoy the meals. The land surrounding the farm belongs to an area where wild life is protected so it's easy to see hares or wild birds while walking in the fields or in the vineyards. Guests may go around freely and have nice walks or spend sometime on the pond just close to the main house. Life goes by peacefully and pleasantly at "Fattoria Gli Spinoni".
