BEAUTIFUL & HISTORIC SCENERY !!!!

GOLFING GALORE !!!!

The local area abounds with historical places and very picturesque scenery. Notably Burns Cottage, the birthplace of Rabbie Burns, the Scottish bard, only 4 miles away, and Culzean Castle (pictured below) a National Trust property some 12 miles distant which Eisenhower used as his base during the 2nd World War. It also has a beautiful outlook across the Firth of Clyde which is quite breathtaking. There is much much more of equal interest and beauty. Why not EXPLORE for yourself !!!
We also have excellent Shopping and Liesure facilities on our doorstep and Prestwick Int'l Airport is only 1 mile away with Glasgow itself only a short commute from Prestwick.

Visiting or playing you just can't beat the quality of course available on our doorstep. These include 2 of the world renowned British Open Championship venues at Royal Troon (MONTY's father is a recent past Secretary of the club) and Turnberry (above)....remember that great Watson / Nicklaus head-to-head on the final day of the 1977 Open. Well both of these courses are literally within 20 minutes drive....in fact Royal Troon is only 4 miles away. Old Prestwick is even closer.....remember this hosted the first ever British Open Champioship competion.
