President and Sister Morrison will preside over the Spain Las Palmas

In 1991, Carl Morrison was called to serve as the Executive Secretary to President Christensen, who was
then serving as the Mission President of the San Diego California
Mission. When the Mission was divided in July of 1993, President Jolley became the Mission President of the
newly-formed California Carlsbad Mission, and Carl Morrison was called to be Second
Counselor and also
Executive Secretary under Pres. Jolley. In July of 1996 President Jolley was released and President Bateman was
called as the new Mission President. Carl was then called to be First
Counselor. In July of 1998 when President Bateman was called to the Seventy, Carl was called to be First
Counselor to President
Blackner, in which capacity he now serves.
