Welcome to Lisa's Site!

Thanks to those of you who have been joining me in my travels over the past decade! I hope it has been fun for you. I'm back in Saipan,in the Northern Mariana Islands, after a year and a half of heading back to the Middle East, with a half year of teaching in South America as well. It was time to come back to my "second home", although West Virginia is where my heart is as well!!!

Japan National Hobie 16 Championships - November 2000 This was my first  sailing away from Saipan.  It was pretty overwhelming for me, but I had a great time!  These are pictures of Janet and Tony who placed 3rd overall.  Pictures of me and my crew Yusuke were few, as we weren't near the front!  But .... my goal was not to place last, and we didnt'!

1998 Laguna Regatta My first regatta - and what fun!!!  Janet and Tony won the "A" Fleet Championship (again!) and Ron and I won the "B" Fleet.  A fun new sport to participate in!!!
